Research Study on Mobile Phones and Internet Usage among Rural Cambodian Crop Farmers

This study aims to understand Cambodian rural crop farmers’ ownership and usage of phones, with a specific interest in smartphone ownership, the functions and applications used on these devices, and behaviours and patterns in internet consumption. Furthermore, the study investigates how rural crop farmers use online platforms such as websites and social media to access and share agricultural information. The findings from this study are intended to inform CAVAC and relevant stakeholders about the potential media for effective dissemination and communication of relevant information to a targeted audience.
