Cambodia-Australia Agricultural Value Chain Program

Ms. Mam Sokhom used to work in a factory to supplement the income from her family’s farm. When her daughter was born, she could no longer work and her husband had to migrate to Thailand to earn the extra money needed to support his family. In 2014, the Australian Government’s Cambodia Agricultural Value Chain (CAVAC) Program helped build an irrigation system that delivers year-round water to her village, Chamlong Chrey, Kampot Province. This video highlights how irrigation has changed her life and reunited her family.
