Cambodia-Australia Agricultural Value Chain Program

Cassava is Cambodia’s second largest crop after rice and it contributes about USD 1 billion to the national economy each year. The future of the cassava sector however is seriously threatened by the spread of the Cassava Mosaic Disease (CMD). This video outlines an effective partnership between the General Directorate for Agriculture (GDA), the International Centre for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) and CAVAC and their collaborative efforts to eradicate CMD and boost the resilience of cassava production.
