The Cambodia Agricultural Value Chain Program (CAVAC) is the largest investment in Australia’s development cooperation program with Cambodia. It is funded by the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and implemented by Cardno (Australia). CAVAC Phase I finished in December 2015. CAVAC Phase II began in January 2016 and is expected to continue for six years until December 2021.

CAVAC’s objective is to increase the productivity and income of smallholder farmers and trade in milled rice and other crops by strengthening market systems and investing in irrigation infrastructure.
