CAVAC conducts all of its procurement and recruitment in line with the highest standards of professionalism. We are committed to following processes that ensure accountability, transparency, value-for-money, and that deliver merit-based decisions.

All procurement is conducted in accordance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR) and all grants are managed in line with the Commonwealth Grants Rules and Guidelines (CGRG).

CAVAC encourages competition and is continuously looking to better understand how local companies and individuals can help us meet our business and research needs. We welcome updates and approaches from companies and individuals in the form of unsolicited information proposals.

CAVAC is committed to child protection and safeguarding the welfare of children in the delivery of the program. Recruitment and selection procedures reflect this commitment and include relevant criminal record checks.

Qualified women and people with disability are strongly encouraged to apply for positions advertised.
