ICT4Ag competition launched to attract innovators to help Cambodian farmers
Cambodian Agriculture Value Chain (CAVAC) is delighted to launch the competition: Information Communication Technology for Agriculture (ICT4Ag). We welcome any idea that uses ICT to improve the production of crops or address any agricultural challenges.
You can enter as an individual, but we encourage you to form a team of three to five members to develop your ideas. You don’t need to be an ICT genius, but need to be able to think through a technology application for agriculture. Your team may have a mix of skills from business to robotics.
Deadline for ideas is 25 February 2018.
CAVAC will help you with an introduction to problems and challenges that might inspire you. ICT4Ag Talks will be held in Battambang, Prey Veng, Kampong Cham, provinces and Phnom Penh. The workshops will introduce you to various challenges in agriculture, and you will have a chance to ask our team about the ICT4Ag competition.
